It's hard to miss the cotton-candy pink, accordion-fold facade of the Yasuka Saigon-Nha Trang rising above beachfront Tran Phu road in the center of Nha Trang. Often, Vietnamese disco is pouring from the stadium speakers out front as the Yasuka gears up to celebrate a holiday, festival or special event. This hotel more closely resembles the panache of 1970s Miami Beach, or Las Vegas when Dino, Sammy and Frank played the Sands, than the contemporary taste for secluded resorts and hushed lobbies.
