The Royal Way connects the Royal Palace with Wilanow Palace and has impressive buildings and monuments along its route. Krakowskie Przedmiescie is the best part of the route. Located on or near it are St. Anne's Church, the Adam Mickiewicz Monument, the Carmelite Monastery, Radziwill Palace, the Caricature Museum, Warsaw University, the Church of the Holy Cross and the Copernicus Monument. The route continues along Nowy Swiat, an avenue famous for its shops.
