The New Town (new in the 15th century), north of the Old Town, has its share of palaces and churches. A tour of the area should include Raczynski Palace, Krasinksi Palace, St. Jacek's Church, Rynek Nowego Miasto (New Town Square), the Church of the Holy Sacrament and the Church of the Virgin Mary. Marie Curie was born at Ulica Freta 16.
