This lively area is also known as the Roman Quarter. It is one of the oldest districts in Turin and has many narrow lanes laid out on the old Roman grid. Via Garibaldi is a pedestrian-only road lined with shops and restaurants that fill up with locals out for a stroll during passeggiata in the late afternoons.
