The national park is a haven for nature lovers. The expansive tropical forest is home to 740 species of trees and plants, as well as nearly 20 mi/32 km of hiking trails. You can pick up brochures, hiking-trail information and maps in the Virgin Islands National Park Visitors Center. If you're interested in tours, organized walks, slide shows or evening programs, check the schedule of events there and sign up as early as possible.
