These ghostly ruins sit right along the road into the Catherineberg residential neighborhood. With the ruins stabilized by Virgin Islands National Park, you're free to wander on your own. The ramparts of an old sugar mill make a nice place for a picnic lunch. The ruins date to the 18th century and served as the headquarters for rebelling Amina slaves during a 1733 uprising.
