Accommodations range from small hotels, self-catering apartments and guesthouses to deluxe, full-service resorts and exclusive hideaways on tiny private islands. There are now 16 islands offering accommodations. Most major credit cards are accepted. Camping is not allowed in the Seychelles. The Christmas period, mid-December-early January, is peak season and some small, elite establishments require a minimum stay of seven nights.
