The most impressive and beautiful building in Malmo, this four-story French-turreted hotel, dominating Old Town's main square, looks more like a white stucco palace, with statues on the roof and a large rounded tower on each side. Built in 1876 and renovated during the art-deco era, the hotel offers a design throughout that is less like the Elite Savoy's organic blend of classic and modern, and more like a show of nostalgia.
