Lion Hill is the premier lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park, a relatively small but exponentially rewarding and popular fenced reserve set in the heart of the Rift Valley on the outskirts of Nakuru Town. One of the older game lodges in Kenya, it lies on the well-wooded escarpment rising eastward from the lakeshore, about 20 minutes' drive from the main entrance gate. Although the lake itself isn't readily visible from the lodge, the wooded grounds are very attractive to be in.
