This town, located on Csepel Island in the Danube, is worth a day trip from Budapest. We liked the 15th-century Gothic church and frescoes and the 18th-century Savoy Palace. If you feel like getting out onto the river, kayaks and rowboats are available to rent. 20 mi/30 km south of Budapest.
