On 15 acres at the eastern tip of the island, this condominium resort is near the defunct Grand Beach Palace, 9 miles from Charlotte Amalie. It is vertically oriented on three levels of a lush cliffside overlooking St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Though it lacks a sandy beach—it is rocky in these parts—it does have a natural environment that almost qualifies as a nature preserve. (The iguana-phobic should book elsewhere.)
