Practically across the street from its sibling, the Mid Pines, this hotel lacks the architectural warmth of its neighbor but compensates inside. This is of little importance to most who stay here, though, since the greens seem to be the primary focus. This resort was developed by the Bells, a legendary golfing couple, who were known as the Von Trapp family of golf. Wife Peggy brought fame to the area through her consistent accolades and by building its reputation as a well-known golf-instruction
