This time-share resort at the eastern end of the island, close to the Red Hook ferry, had lived its glory days before Hurricane Marilyn struck in 1995. This place has never fully recovered, which, coupled with its inland location five minutes from the beach and 7 miles from Charlotte Amalie, is the reason it flies under the radar of most tourists. The general lack of facilities lends to the somnolent atmosphere, limiting its appeal to those seeking walled seclusion.
