This hotel, a slim yellow skyscraper located two blocks from the train station, vies with the Palace of Culture and Science for the honor of the ugliest building in Poland. Once the aging Hotel Forum, this place was built when international-style accommodations were scarce, and its Soviet-era exterior mimics its former inside look. It remains Poland's largest hotel.
