A throwback to the cafe society of the 1940s, the Oak Room cabaret tradition was revived in the 1980s, with performances that cater to the after-theater crowd. It now hosts some of the nation's most prestigious jazz and cabaret singers. The crowd is generally fortysomething or older. Performances generally Tuesday-Thursday at 9 pm, Friday and Saturday at 9 and 11:30 pm. Dinner seating begins at 7 pm. Music charge US$60-$75.
