Started by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington in 1931, this Natural Historic Landmark is home to the world's most significant collection of American sculpture. Also on the grounds is the Lowcountry History and Wildlife Preserve, which is home to a collection of animals native to the South Carolina Lowcountry. Refreshments and a gift shop are also on the grounds. Open daily 9:30 am-5 pm; open 3-10 pm December 5, 6, 12, 13, 18 and 20 for the Holiday Lights Festival. Closed Christmas Day.
