Although the clock ticked off its 15 minutes of fame long ago, not a single competitor has been able to match this property's social magnetism. However, enduring Hollywood-chic is best uncovered at Chateau Marmont, while the more subdued Roosevelt Hotel offers a viable alternative closer to the Kodak Theater.
