Moka is home to the lovely campus of the University of Mauritius, as well as the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. It's about 4 mi/6 km south of Port Louis. Near town is Maison Eureka, a beautifully furnished colonial house dating to 1830. It is surrounded by waterfalls and gardens.
