Complimentary Continental breakfast is served at all locations, and guest rooms include free wireless high-speed Internet access, free long-distance and local calls, desk space, phone with data ports, and cable TV with ESPN, CNN & HBO. Suite rooms are also available and include a microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and seating area.
In 2007 Microtel completed its Dream Well initiative by adding new 200-thread count sheets and plush-top mattresses to all its beds.
Microtel offers a 10% discount to large groups (10 or more rooms), travelers over 50, government and military personnel and corporate travelers. Some locations offer small meetings rooms that hold up to 20 people.
The chain also offers its frequent customers a chance to save with MicroPass and Microtel Value Preferred (MVP) programs. Bonuses for members include discounted rates and every 10th night free.
