This beautiful glacial town on the eastern point of the Nordfjord is in a stunning area, and the scenery is even more spectacular when seen from above.
The flight over
Jostedalsbreen Glacier—the largest sheet of ice on the European continent—is spectacular. If flying isn't your thing, you can enjoy an afternoon drive—by either motorcoach or horse-drawn carriage—through a wooded area to the Briksdalen Inn (in the nearby town of Briksdal), passing beautiful waterfalls and rivers along the way.
