    Ibis Hotels provide the "green" traveler with a great option since more than 180 Ibis Hotels in France and Brazil have received third-party certification as environmentally conscious establishments.

    At every location, the front desk stays open around the clock, offering phone and fax services, housekeeping services and snacks.

    Meeting rooms are well-equipped and contain audiovisual equipment. Unlimited coffee breaks are complimentary.

    Many Ibis hotels feature a thalassotherapy or thermal spa. These hotels offer packages that include room and board and a treatment program.

    Dining is a hallmark of Ibis hotels. At every facility, breakfast is served from early morning until noon. Pasta, local dishes and more are available at all hours, every day of the year. Dining options vary by locale and may include any of the following: La Table for an unlimited salad bar plus daily specials and regional dishes; The Estaminet, a bistro with starters, simmered dishes, creative desserts and wine from the barrel; Courtepaille for meats and fish prepared on an open grill; Cafes with different themes; Comptoir de Maitre Kanter for traditional Alsatian dishes and a wide selection of beer; Sud et Cie for Mediterranean dishes; and Le Restaurant Ibis, which offers three fixed-price menus.

    Guest rooms are minimally furnished with a double bed, a desk and chair, and a TV. Amenities include Internet access, a wide selection of TV channels and thermostats (in most hotels).

    The chain puts customer service to the test with a program it calls the '15 minutes satisfaction contract.' If a guest encounters a problem at any Ibis hotel, the staff has 15 minutes to resolve it. In the case that it does not, the room tariff is waived.

    Members of sports teams get a special break if they stay at an Ibis hotel in connection with a sporting event. This program is called Vitabis and entails balanced, healthy meals, light meals specially adapted for athletes and a conference room for teams to review their game strategy (subject to availability). The program applies to players as well as trainers, coaches, team doctors, managers and referees. Proof of eligibility is required.

    The chain's parent company rewards frequent stays with an Accor Favorite Guest Card. The card entitles guests to room-rate reductions and services at more than 2,500 Accor hotels, including Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Suitehotel, Thalassa, Coralia and Ibis.
