The Hotel de Rome is a seven-story corner block that was refurbished in 2001. It is centrally located in the heart of Riga's old town, a great location for restaurants, bars and shopping near the Freedom monument and the Opera House.
The spacious well-lit lobby has comfortable armchairs and a quiet, elegant atmosphere. Its atrium-style design incorporates lobby seating on each floor. Unfortunately, the good first impressions are brought to a jarring halt by the incompetent and surly reception
