This hotel is at one end of Konigstrasse (one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe), overlooking the Obere Schlossgarten, across from the Staatstheater and one block from the train station.
This independent house is conservative in atmosphere compared to the loud-and-proud Steigenberger, and it is certainly less commercial than the InterContinental or Maritim. It is not a showplace of design or a hangout for trendoids, but rather just a good, solid traditional hotel in an excellent loc
