This three-story neoclassical villa-hotel is close to the action but maintains a relaxing garden and pool to set it apart from the competition. This is part of the SINA Hotels Group, which includes some of the best-run hotels in the country. Service is excellent, and conscientious upgrading bolsters the hotel's position as a top player in Florence. This hotel is about 10 tons of glittering marble short of the Westin Excelsior, but the standards here are just as high.
