In a venerable brick and limestone building next to the
Hard Rock Cafe near Plaza de Colon and the unimpressive NH Sanvy, this property has improved considerably since prior inspection. Melia has invested heavily in this once prime, but floundering, Tryp hotel, and the efforts have proven worthwhile. The classically elegant look successfully mixes traditional and contemporary styles and amenities. Even service has begun to blossom of late.
