With only the Ritz-Carlton to compete with, the Four Seasons is Doha's only other top-notch luxury hotel for now. Many prefer its more central location on the Corniche than the Ritz-Carlton, which is much farther down the beach.
The sedate lobby encourages a hushed atmosphere although the staff wants nothing more than for guests to feel comfortable. A short reception desk sits tucked in the corner where check-in formalities are completed.
