Professional Review
Within sight of the ocean but not on it, this dormered three-story inn dates from 1932 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The last of the beach resorts on this narrow island, First Colony remains a haven from the development explosion. Though other properties block most of the view, the beach is only a short walk away. The exterior of this lovingly nicknamed "Grand Old Lady" is seemingly cut from the shores of traditional Cape Cod.
