This ice-skating venue, which opened in 1955, is located less than a mile/kilometer from the Indian Ocean. During KwaZulu-Natal school holidays the rink is open daily 10 am-10 pm (Saturday and Sunday till 10:30 pm); open during the school term Wednesday-Sunday; and skate sessions are 10 am and 12:15, 2:30, 5, 7 and 7:30 pm.
