In a surprising if disappointing location requiring an often daring U-turn off Highway 1, this hotel is awkwardly pinched between two busy boulevards and a poor beach. The property offers minimal resort appeal due to its limited grounds and cramped pool area with almost constant road noise. Still, it has more character than the commercial norm.
