The Doha Marriott is far from the star-studded opulence that its city competitors offer, but its relative ease to the airport and downtown location make it extremely popular for harried business folk who find location and traffic-free convenience a complete boon. No awards will be doled out for architectural brilliance, but staff training supersedes expectations regularly. Its private beach and fanciful spa provide a peaceful balance to the undoubted business exploits of most guests.
