A wide variety of international cuisines is available in Mbabane and the Ezulwini Valley, including Portuguese, Hungarian, Chinese and Indian. The local fare is quite tasty, though most food is imported from South Africa. If the opportunity presents itself, try the traditional Swazi maize and meat stew. Depending on the season, excellent avocados, mangos, papaya (paw-paw) and pineapples can be found in the local markets (or dropping from trees).
