New owners have taken the helm since the last inspection, and the inn has only improved under their light-handed stewardship. This fine old captain's house is overall more evocative, and the accommodations here convey more authentic and inviting traditional style. The neighboring Moses Nickerson House is a viable second choice when this place is filled up, which it often is.
