Situated 3 km south of the Marangu Gate to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, 45 km from Moshi and about 75 km from Kilimanjaro International Airport, this hotel lies in the forest zone immediately outside the park boundary. Opened in the late 1990s, it is the largest hotel in the Marangu area, with a lodging capacity of 100 guests, and expansion is in the works.
