Africa's only center dedicated to the World War II holocaust. Exhibitions include archival documents, film footage, multimedia displays and artifacts. In the same complex, you'll find the South African Jewish Museum, which is in a landmark building whose facade is made of Jerusalem stone. Its displays trace the social, political, intellectual and cultural contributions made by Jews in South Africa. The Holocaust Centre is open Sunday-Thursday 10 am-5 pm, Friday 10 am-1 pm; the Jewish Museum is open Sunday-Thursday 10 am-5 pm, Friday 10 am-2 pm.
