Located to the east of Brazzaville on the main road, the Bouenza region contains the Nkila-Ntari Caves, a tropical-fruit plantation and Lakes Malengue and Sinda. As beautiful as the lakes are, don't go in the water—it's filled with crocodiles and hippos.
