Two things to remember about hotel rooms in Boston: They can be hard to come by, and (consequently) they tend to be expensive. Reserve as far in advance as possible. Except perhaps in the dead of winter, it's nearly impossible to get a room in the city proper at the last minute. Things are even worse during the university homecomings and especially during graduation season in May.
