This time-share hotel sits atop a hill facing the center of Charlotte Amalie, four blocks away as the bird flies but not as the taxi drives. (Since the steep narrow access road has no sidewalk, guests are beholden to the taxi fleet for any jaunt to town.) This place has always been plagued by uneven room standards, poor service and even worse maintenance. Dining, on the other hand, is well-regarded and moderately priced.
