Hale Farm brings the 1800s to life. This outdoor history museum located south of Cleveland features guides who interpret the lives of Ephraim and Sebra Tibbals, two of the village's original settlers. The crafts (on display and for sale) are authentic and include pieces made on-site by glassblowers, potters, basket makers and weavers; pigs, cows, sheep and workhorses are as real as they come. The farm, operated by the Western Reserve Historical Society, holds seasonal events such as holiday lantern tours and fugitive path programs, highlighting the Underground Railroad in Ohio. Late May-October Wednesday-Saturday 11 am-5 pm, Sunday noon-5 pm. US$14.50 adults, US$7.50 children ages 3-11, free for children younger than 3 and historical society members. 2686 Oak Hill Road (about a 30-minute drive from downtown Cleveland), Bath.
