As the flagship product, all Marriott Hotels are mid- to upper-level, full-service establishments with a variety of guest amenities and accommodations. In all, there are more than 500 Marriott Hotels & Resorts, with about 350 of those in the U.S. The brand emphasizes caring, dependable service at a reasonable price.
Guest amenities vary by location but typically include on-site fitness centers, gift shops, swimming pools, business centers, meeting facilities, high-speed Internet access and limited concierge service. These amenities are in addition to the basic accommodations that today’s travelers have come to expect such as coffeemakers, cable TV, hair dryers, and irons and ironing boards.
Rates vary by location, but usually range from US$150 to US$250 for rooms and US$200 to US$350 for suites.
Marriott Resorts offer the same amenities and similar rates to Marriott Hotels but features more vacation-oriented locations, as well as more entertainment and recreation options on or near the grounds.
