The Great Pumpkin Rises
Europa Park garnered more than four million visitors last year, making it one of the two most popular amusement parks on the entire continent. The 200 acre park opened back in 1975 but is still widely unknown outside of central Europe. Remember your favorite childhood fairy tales? This November you can see them re-enacted as you never have before. The 19th annual Berlin Fairy Tale Days is taking place from Nov. 6-23. Each year the festival entertains nearly 100,000 visitors and brings classic fairy tales from around the world to life. This year’s theme is Switzerland and will feature a number of tales told and sung in all the Swiss dialects.
