This hotel seven kilometers east of town, 65 kilometers west of Heraklion, is a massive, self-contained resort bustling in-season with northern European vacationers and conferees. This operation is more elegant than its child-friendly sibling Grecotel El Greco, and its consistent updating, fine staff and dedicated maintenance crew keep it on a par with sibling Grecotel Creta Palace. The accommodations here tend to offer more relaxed, tropical style than the more sophisticated peer, however.
