This town is in an area inhabited by Pygmies. Hikers may want to explore nearby Mt. Kondzo, which overlooks the town. (There are some interesting caves on the way up.) In the regional markets, look for mvoudi or bodi masks, characteristic of the region. 235 mi/380 km southeast of Libreville.
