This business favorite wins for its friendly staff, waterfront location and classy operation. At inspection in late 2007, construction on the exterior was under way to improve the facilities and all-day work may disturb jetlagged travelers.
The compact lobby is a bit of a disappointment, although there is plenty of seating available, and the sea views are lovely. Sit-down reception is the norm, and a speedy concierge handles individual needs.
