South of Tortola (on the south side of Sir Francis Drake Channel), Cooper Island is accessible only by private boat or charter yacht. The little island, only 1.5 mi/2 km long and 0.5 mi/1 km wide, offers swimming and a small pebbly beach with good snorkeling at its southern end. However, soft sand can be felt on the Manchioneel Bay beach at the northwest side of the small island. The island has overnight accommodations at the Cooper Island Beach Club. You can also eat lunch and dinner there.
