Cruising to "Nowhere" might sound a little far-fetched to some, but it is a great way to experience cruising for first-time cruisers or someone who just wants to get away without the worry of booking hotel rooms, dinner reservations and show tickets.

 

Many cruise lines in all price ranges - luxury, deluxe and mainstream - now offer these two- or three-night journeys from any number of ports. Some are as simple as dinner and dancing cruises. Others are geared for themed interests. Still more are just available to give those who have never been on a cruise ship before a taste of what they can expect to find on longer journeys to locales like the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska or elsewhere.
